Joey Devine optioned to Richmond, Peter Moylan called up from Richmond
Joey Devine was sent back to Triple-A Richmond after struggling to start the season due to soreness in his lower back. Peter Moylan, a pitcher the Braves signed after watching him pitch for Team Australia in the World Baseball Classic, assumed his spot in the bullpen. The 27-year-old side-arming right-hander allowed 2 runs, struck out 4 and walked 3 in 4 innings of work with Richmond this year.
