I’m sorry but I really don’t think the first round of the playoffs is when Atlanta meet with the Cardinals. If the Braves win the East, the Cardinals win the Central, and Houston wins the wild card, Atlanta and Houston will meet in the first round, with the Cardinals playing agianst the Western Division Winner. If agian the two teams win their respective divisions, and an Easter Division team wins the wild card, the Braves will play the Western division winner, and the wild card team will play agianst St. Louis. In any case, it will likely be Atlanta versus St. Louis in the NLCS.

You’re right. My mistake… That’s a relief. From the Answers.com National League Division Series page:
“Typically, the wild-card team plays the division leader with the best winning percentage in one series, and the other two division leaders play the other series. However, if the wild-card team and the division leader with the best record are from the same division, the wild-card team plays the next winningest division leader, and the remaining two division leaders play.”
