Seth Greisinger, Brayan Pena head to minor league camp

Filed under: Team News, Views and Minor Leagues, Draft — Matthew @ 12:24 am

The Braves traded for pitcher Seth Greisinger from the Nationals on Saturday. They will give up a player to be named later. Greisinger has compiled an unimpressive 5.56 ERA in 41 major league games after being drafted by the Tigers with the sixth pick in the 1996 draft. He will start the season at Triple-A Richmond.

Catcher Brayan Pena was re-assigned to the Braves’ minor league camp to get more at-bats. He has 1 hit in only 8 at-bats this spring.
