Marcus Giles and Kevin Gryboski head to arbitration
Let the haggling begin! Marcus Giles is asking for $2.7 million next season (compared to $430,000 last season). The Braves are countering with an arbitration offer of $2.05 million. The two sides should be able to find some middle ground before the salary arbitration hearing. Kevin Gryboski filed for a raise to $975,000 while the Braves offered $780,000. The Braves are more likely to stand their ground and go to arbitration with Gryboski.
He’s worth at least what he’s asking for.
