					<description>	    Very few fans become to see the scoreboard, therefore my nagging question is:  Why not spend that money on a proven star player so that the team can take the last step to the next level, in other words, win another World Series.    Bob Clark

	Yes, because the scoreboards are so advanced the Braves are ultimately going to have to fork over $5 million towards the construction of them (the Atlanta-Fulton County Recreation Authority covers the rest).  They apparently believe the boost in attendance will pay off in the long run (maybe allowing for larger payrolls in the future) but I agree that most fans wouldn&amp;#8217;t mind going without a scoreboard if it meant winning a World Series championship this year!
